We are a little late... but here we are with the review of The Sims 4 Spa Day!
The Sims 4 Spa Day is the second Game pack available for The Sims 4 since July 2015, literally a mix between a Stuff pack and an actual Expansion pack.
Just like its predecesssor, Outdoor retreat, you can only buy this pack via Origin.
As you probably guessed by its name, this Game pack focuses on spa and wellness, adding a bunch of new objects, clothes and themed hairstyles.
It goes without saying that the heart of this pack is literally "wellness" and you will be able to place up to 3 different premade spa-lots or try to build your own one, thanks to the many new themed objects that came with this new pack. You can even place some of them in your Sims homes too, others require to be placed on a community lot only.
There are many ways for your Sims to enjoy their wellness time: join a yoga group, meditate, get many kinds of massages or relax in the sauna. Every activity will boost your Sim's mood and their skills too! There's a good choice for themed outfits too (with some recolors too)... you will have no excuse not to gift your Sims a day out in the spa!
The only slightly negative side is the actual price of the Game pack, 19,99 €, especially if you compare its predecessor that added a new world (on top of new camping-themed objects) so maybe there could've been a bit more content to justify its doubled price, if compared to a normal Stuff pack that only adds more items.
All in all, The Sims 4 Spa Day is a good Game pack, the addition of wellness centres is very welcome, together with all the new interactions that come with them that will make your wellness-lovers Sims really happy. If the price does bother you a bit, then feel free to skip this pack. A must buy though for every other fan!
